Remedy games have finally given us a look at the upcoming Control 2 Resonant. From a glance at the trailer the scope of the game looks exponentially larger than Control which was limited to a ‘building’. Here is a detailed overview of everything we can see in the trailer.

The trailer starts with Dylan, Jesse’s brother in the cabin he was kept in the first game. He introduces us to the new antagonist which similar to the hiss is a pattern. 

We can also see the Mold has broken out of the Oldest House, which makes it safe to assume that all the objects of power should be out and about as well. 

The hiss are also making a return with their iconic red lighting and fent flopping. The oldest house can also be seen with dead bodies everywhere. 

 The next scene shows Jesse picking up what appears to be some sort of altered item and possibly stab Dylan with it. On the table we can see the file for the slide projector, which was the altered item that led to the AWE in Ordinary and also let the Hiss out. Maybe the new AWE is due to it as well? 

After getting stabbed(or maybe not) Dylan is sent to the Astral plane but it looks similar to the one which was inhabited by Former (Fridge boss in Control) and not the Board. We then get to hear the entity talk with Dylan and say that Jesse has gone rogue, explaining why Dylan is the protagonist of Control 2 Resonant. 

Afterwards, Control 2 Resonant Trailer showcases the new combat which seems melee heavy instead of a third person shooter. We can also see the environment which looks absolutely peak as it does in every other Remedy game. 

The end of the trailer showcases what appears to be Jesse floating towards a pattern which does not look like Polaris. 

Control 2 Resonant Launch Date

Control 2 is set to launch sometime in 2025. It will be available on all major platforms which includes Steam, Epic Game Store, PlayStation and Xbox.
